Thank Goodness for Virginia! I've used other groomers and while their grooming techniques were good, Virginia's are better. PLUS, she is very sweet and kind to my dog. I've witnessed other groomers who do not take the dog's feelings into account when handling them. Virginia treats my dog with respect, kindness and gentleness. My dog comes away looking beautiful and happy, not traumatized. Virginia is a God send!

We feel so lucky that we found Virginia as a groomer for our Coton de Tulear dog. She does an amazing job and we always get lots of compliments when people see our dog right after grooming. Even more important to us, she is so kind, patient, and caring with our dog. You can see that she cares deeply about dogs and that she takes great pride in her work. I know she volunteers to groom shelter dogs so that they can look their very best and have increased chances of adoption. Virginia deserves every one of her five stars! She has our highest recommendation.

We absolutely love Virginia. We drive our oversized toy poodle, Koo, 45 min each way to see her every 6 weeks. Koo is excited to see Virginia every time and leaves relaxed and happy. Koo can be chatty (noisy!) when anxious and, unlike other groomers, Virginia is so patient with him. She adjusts to his emotional needs and makes him feel safe. Virginia also has excellent technique - better than any other groomer I've ever seen in 20 years of dog ownership. Koo comes out consistently adorable every single time. If you want your dog to be respected and treated well while getting a great grooming, you have a sure thing with Virginia.

Yes! Virginia is definitely worth 5 stars. My little dog is 7 years old and after using other groomers for 6 years we discovered Virginia. The first time he actually is calm and enjoys the experience. She comes to my home where she does my dog and a friend's dog. Love her gentleness and oneness with the dogs. The haircuts are so precisely and beautifully done with no shaggy areas. The ears always are perfectly even and well shaped. Such a relief to have found someone totally trustworthy and so professional. So sorry I didn't know of her 7 years ago. No more worries now tho.

Virginia is the best!!!!!!!!! She is not only care about your dog , She loves your dog. she takes her time to do the perfect job. most of time, she will run overtime on her service and she care about your feeling and make sure that is what you want for your dog. I am very thankful having her as Athena's groomer. She is more than a 5 star.

Virginia is great, highly recommend her dog grooming services. I had first met Virginia while she was at Bow Wow Meow in Menlo Park, she did an awesome job on my puppy. When I went back for a followup grooming she had left to start her own business and I was assigned another groomer who was just awful. My puppy was traumatized by the experience so I searched for Virginia and luckily found her(no thanks to Bow Wow Meow who were reluctant to give forwarding information). Extremely happy with Virginia's grooming services, she really does care for your dog. For an extra fee she can do in home grooming which makes it very convenient.

Long overdue review for Virginia and her amazing services! We have been bringing our puppy Choco for grooming once a month for the last four months and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Virginia really listens to what we ask for and executes to picture perfection. We love that Virginia uses high quality products (the lavender shampoo smells soooo good) that doesn't irritate my puppy's sensitive skin and leaves his fur super soft and shiny. Virginia is patient, careful and extremely caring. Five stars all the way!!

Virginia grooms my 4 Shih Tzus on a monthly basis. She provides a superior level of service. Besides her expertise in all aspects of grooming, she truly loves and cares for each of my pups as if they were her own. The are always happy to see her. Her love for dogs has led her to foster a series of homeless ones, often at great expense. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a superior grooming service.

Virginia is a wonderful groomer and a wonderful person. I met Virginia as she is the volunteer groomer for Rocket Dog Rescue. She makes the dogs we bring her so beautiful. She also has the most loving touch with the dogs, making frightened dogs calm and happy. Virginia is also a dog rescuer herself, She has saved dogs from as far away as Hong Kong and brought them here to safety and fostered them until they got happy homes. I really can't say enough of what a kind person and excellent groomer Virginia is. Virginia also does dog boarding. No dog would be better cared for. She is the best.

Virginia is the best! She is very passionate about what she does and BoBo loves her! Bobo was attacked by another dog before and got bitten. Ever since that she's been so sensitive when I took her to grooming. But she did so well with Virginia!!! I am very impressed! Virginia is very careful and gentle with dogs. She cares about bobo so much that she even taught me how to brush her everyday. I am very thankful for everything she does! I already recommended her to my friends and family.

Too bad 5 starts is the most I can give. After getting groomed at PetSmart and getting sedated even after we said no sedatives, our dog was terrified of any pet store that offered grooming. Virginia cut Addie's hair, and did a fabulous job with it. She gave Addie lots of treats, and water, and everything in order to make her feel comfortable. When we came to pick Addie up, she wasn't pulling us to the door to get out as soon as possible, but she was pulling us to meet Virginia! She absolutely loves Bow Wow Meow and gets the best treatment there (like a princess). The people working there will open packs of treats so that your dog can have some, and they are just great with her.

Just got my dog groomed with Virginia. She is the best and worth the wait...book early to get her...she is AWESOME and truly loves her job and our pets! We had 2 bad experiences elswhere and she has made our dog so comfortable and happy to be there. We have been going there for over a year now and he loves her...hes hesitant to stay but she picks him up and it's all good! When we leave he kisses her...so cute! Believe me he is not like that with many people. You can see that she really cares and I am so happy to have found her. I have told many about her but I want everyone to know that VIRGINA ROCKS!!! The store is ok too but go here for grooming with her!

I needed to find a new groomer and a groomer that could truly take direction on how I want my dog's cut. I am very picky with my dog's cut and although I've taken to my dog to a lot of great places, I was tired of having to repeat myself and get my dog's cut back not the way I wanted it. I decided to give this place a try and Thank god I did.
The place is very clean and the staff is SO nice and welcoming. My groomer, Virginia is AMAZING! She really takes the time to make sure that I am happy, takes my direction and delivers on a final product that I wanted the first time all the time. I only had to tell her once how I wanted it and the results exceeded my expectations. I am very very satisfied and my pup is even happier. She used to always pee and poop everytime she goes to the other groomers but here, she never does, its like she's really happy here or something.
Anyways, LOVE LOVE this place. Thank you!!!

Yelp denotes a 5 star review as something as good as it gets. And yes I think it did when I visited Bow Wow Meow numerous times to get dog treats, browse for dog beds and collars and alas take my two toy poodles for a grooming session.
+ The groomer, Virginia, is so awesome! She brought a dog lookbook so that we both had the same haircut in mind for my two toy poodles. Wow they looked so fantastic! I got compliments all day and the next few days!!! I didn't realize how scraggly my pups looked until she groomed them! They look like fluffy teddy bears now! For $60 per dog I got nails trimmed, a shampoo and blow out, cleaned ears and anal glands. That's so worth it!!!
+ BWM is concerned about the service they provide. Got a call back from someone two days after the grooming session to make sure I was satisfied.
TIP: Book grooming session in advance. They fill up. Virginia is now my go-to groomer. Bring a picture of the look if you want a specific look for your dog to avoid miscommunication.
